How To Properly Maintain Your Ceramic Coating

It is important to maintain your ceramic-coated car properly to ensure maximum shine and protection. Even though the coating is designed to be durable, regular cleaning and maintenance will help extend its life. Here are some tips on how to keep your ceramic coating looking its best:
Avoid automatic car washes like the plague
Automatic car washes are one of the worst things you can do to your ceramic coating. The harsh chemicals and brushes can strip away the coating, leaving your paint unprotected. If you must wash your car, do it by hand using a gentle soap and avoid scrubbing too hard.
Use the two bucket system when washing
When washing your car, be sure to use the two bucket system to avoid contamination. Fill one bucket with soap and water and another with just clean water. Use a separate sponge or mitt for each bucket to avoid cross-contamination.
Don't Wash Your Car In Direct Sunlight
Washing your car in direct sunlight can cause the soap to dry too quickly and leave streaks on the paint. It's best to wash your car in the shade or on an overcast day.
Remove any soap residue or water spots quickly

Use an Approved Maintenance Spray
After you've washed and dried your car, you can use a ceramic maintenance spray to add extra shine and protection. We recommend using the Ceramic Pro Care application which is the only approved maintenance spray that's safe to use with your Ceramic Pro coating
